How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Upon receipt of full payment, your order will be shipped to the credit card or PayPal billing address. We cannot ship to an alternative address otherwise you will not be covered by the PayPal buyer guarantee. We use Royal Mail's fast 'Tracked and Signed' delivery anywhere in the world. delivery is FREE to UK to Ireland! UK deliveries sent by Royal Mail "Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm"®(next day). All items are shipped 'Tracked and Signed' to the billing address and are fully insured. Please allow for the following shipping times from date of order:

  • UK: up to 3 working days
  • Europe: 3 to 7 working days
  • Worldwide: 7 to 9 working days

The above shipping times are a guide only. Please note that personalised orders may have a longer processing and manufacturing time.

Shipment, Customs, Duties and Taxes

The use of the Mother and Daughter site is intended for the purpose of allowing people and entities to be able to form legally binding agreements for the purchase of items for personal use by themselves or as gifts. In order to help provide a more secure shopping experience Mother and Daughter offers insured shipping to all countries which we ship.

All items purchased from Mother and Daughter are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means the risk of loss and title for such items pass to the buyer upon our delivery to the carrier.

The recipient specified on the delivery address will be the importer of the purchased product and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Purchased goods may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country or state.

The recipient specified on the delivery address may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country.

Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient specified on the delivery address. Mother and Daughter has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. It is the responsibility of the recipient to contact their local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond Mother and Daughter’s original delivery estimates.

 

How do I track my order?

On shipping we will send you the parcel tracking number that will allow you to follow the progress of your order.

 

What is your Lost Package Policy?

All our products are sent tracked and Signed For, and are fully insured on your behalf through UK Royal Mail.

On the rare occasion that a package is lost in transit we reserve the right to wait up to 30 days from your inquiry to trace the package to determine what has happened. Mother and Daughter will not hold the purchaser's funds any longer than necessary, however we need to follow proper Royal Mail procedures to determine if the package was signed for by another person, stolen or lost.

In the event that it has been lost or stolen you will have the option of receiving a full refund or of having your order resent. If Royal Mail is able to provide proof of delivery (i.e. the package was delivered and signed for) then neither Royal Mail or Mother and Daughter can be held liable. Refunds or reshipping of orders to replace lost or stolen packages will not be done unless the above procedure is followed.
