Necklace Size Guide

How to determine the right chain length for you?

First: decide where you would like the pendant to sit, for example just above your collar bone (Choker), on or just over your collar bone (Princess), perhaps lower at the top of the cleavage (Matinee) or another length.

Second: take a string and place it around your neck to the length you want and measure its length and compare that to the available sizes. It does not have to be exact, a couple of centimetres either side won’t make any real difference in the way it looks!

Don’t forget to take into account the length of the pendant (if any) that sits on the chain in deciding where you want it to sit. You will find the dimensions of each pendant in the description.

What goes with what?

  • A Choker, 16 inches (41 cm), emphasizes the neckline. They go with many styles of outfit and are suitable for most throat shapes and sizes.

  • The Princess, 18 inches (45 cm), is by far the most versatile length and is well suited for crew and high necklines, but also compliments low plunging necklines. It sits on the collarbone and goes with almost everything.

  • The Matinee, 20 inches (51 cm) to 24  inches (61 cm), is ideal for high or very low necklines. it is designed to be worn between the collarbone and the bust and is great for both business and casual wear.

  • The Opera, 24 inches (61 cm) to 35 inches (89 cm), sits on the bust or an inch or two below. It gives a dramatic look and is designed to go over blouse or dress. Great for that elegant look and evening wear.

  • The Rope, 35 inches (89 cm) to 42 inches (107 cm), they are designed to be worn as a single long chain or can be wrapped to sit on or just below the center of the bust. It gives a dramatic look and is designed to go over blouse or dress. An elegant look for business and evening wear.
